Malunion / Nonunion Management

What it involves

Realignment, bone grafting and stable fixation to get the bone healed in a good position.

The first step is finding why healing failed, whether infection, poor stability or poor biology. A plan is then made to correct alignment and encourage the bone to unite.

When it is considered

For fractures that are still painful or unhealed months after injury, or that healed crooked.

This page is general information. The right option depends on your examination and scans, so please book a consultation for advice on your own case.
